Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions teams ask before booking. If yours isn't here, ask directly — that's what the phone is for.
Where do classes take place?
Wherever your people are. GoMedTrng is a mobile training service — classes run at your workplace, church, gym, school, clinic, community room, or even a living room for small groups. The equipment comes to you: manikins, AED trainers, first aid supplies, and bleeding-control trainers.
What areas do you serve?
Vero Beach, Indian River County, Sebastian, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Melbourne, Palm Bay, Okeechobee, and nearby Florida communities. If you're close to that footprint but not sure, send a request — the answer is usually yes.
How much does training cost?
Course pricing is published on the Pricing page — it's per person, and it's the same rate whether you book as an individual or as a group. Healthcare-provider courses list separate initial and renewal rates, and there are renewal bundles for providers refreshing more than one card. Send a training request and you'll get the applicable rate confirmed with your date — no obligation, no pressure.
How many people do I need to book a class?
There's no required minimum. Groups make the most of a mobile visit, but individuals and small groups are regularly matched into sessions or scheduled directly. Tell us your headcount and we'll make it work.
Which courses do you offer?
Heartsaver CPR/AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED, BLS, ACLS, and PALS course options, plus Stop the Bleed, EMT/paramedic tutoring, and AED & readiness reviews. If you're not sure which fits, say so in the request — recommending the right course is part of the job.
Are these AHA courses? Will we get certification cards?
Ask about AHA course options when you request your date. Course availability, certification language, and card issuance details are confirmed directly with GoMedTrng before registration, so you know exactly what your team will receive.
How long does a class take?
It varies by course and group size — a focused CPR/AED session is shorter than a combined first aid class or a provider course. Exact timing is confirmed when your date is scheduled so you can plan shifts and coverage around it.
What should participants wear or bring?
Comfortable clothes you can kneel and move in. Everything else — manikins, AED trainers, supplies — arrives with the instructor.
Do you offer evening or weekend classes?
Often, yes. Mobile scheduling is flexible by design, and evenings/weekends are popular with churches, HOAs, and businesses that can't pause weekday operations. Put your preferred times in the request form.
How do renewals work?
Most certifications need periodic renewal, and dates sneak up on busy teams. Ask to join the GoMedTrng renewal list when you train — you'll get a heads-up before expirations so rescheduling is painless.
Do you sell AEDs?
No — GoMedTrng doesn't sell devices, which keeps the advice honest. The AED & Readiness Review looks at your current AED placement, pad and battery dates, kit access, and training intervals, then gives you a simple recommendation summary you can act on.
Can you help us figure out what training our workplace needs?
Yes. Start with the resource guide "What CPR Training Does My Workplace Need?" — or skip straight to the request form and choose "Not sure yet." Describe your team and you'll get a straight recommendation.
Question not covered?
Ask a human. You'll get a straight answer, not a phone tree.
